If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.Job Description:Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Associate’s position is a physical fast-paced and labor-intensive role within a warehouse environment that involves sorting/stocking packages as well as loading and unloading them into and out of UPS package delivery vehicles and trailers. Job Type: Part-Time - PermanentWork Location: 1101 Blair Rd. Burlington ON L7M 1T3Workdays: Tuesday to SaturdayShift Duration: 3-5 hours per day *(Flexibility is required with both the start and finish times)Shift Schedule Start Time : 5 am - 6:15 am (approx)Shift Schedule End Time: 9 am - 10:30 am (approx) **Applicants must be able to work 25 hours per week** Responsibilities and Duties:* Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailers
* Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods
* Sort and stock packages based on postal codes Qualifications:* Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35kg)
* Full availability to work Tuesday to Saturday (all five days of the week)
* Ability to read and memorize postal codes
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
* Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
* Warehouse experience (would be considered an asset) Compensation and Benefits:* Weekly compensation starting at $18.50 / per hour.
* Guaranteed wage progression through Union Collective Agreement - $30.09 per hour after seniority plus 48 months of service.
* Tuition reimbursement of up to $ 2000 per semester + $300 for course materials (books)
