In this client-facing role, you’ll support plan members across British Columbia with health and life insurance claims, enrollment processes, and general inquiries. You'll play a key part in maintaining strong relationships with employers, union reps, and insurers—helping ensure the smooth delivery of group benefits services.</p><p><br></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Review and adjudicate life and health claims for BC plan members</li><li>Support plan members with enrollment and benefit-related inquiries</li><li>Understand and communicate the key features of various group plans</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records and contributions</li><li>Liaise with employers, unions, and insurance providers to ensure service excellence</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams on claims reporting and trust accounting</li><li>Provide general administrative support and assist the Claims Manager as needed</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li>1+ year of experience in group benefits or employee benefits administration</li><li>Strong time management and organizational skills; thrive under pressure and meet deadlines</li><li>Comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal systems</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team player mindset</li><li>Experience with union-sponsored, multi-employer benefit plans or TPAs is a strong asset</li><li>Fluency in <strong>Punjabi</strong> or <strong>Tagalog</strong> is an asset</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Benefits</p><p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Salary: <strong>$55,000–$65,000</strong> per year</li><li>Overtime pay</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including:</li><li>Dental, extended health, vision, and life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>RRSP matching</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This role offers an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Group Benefits Administrator</strong> to make a meaningful impact.
